From birth to 5 years, your child should reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move. Track your child’s development and act early if you have a concern.

GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH
works to improve the health and well-being of the people of Grays Harbor. They accomplish this through a variety of services and programs, including the
Grays Harbor Family Support Program and Parents as Teachers.
South Sound Parent to Parent, (Birth to Three Program) (SSP2P) is the early intervention provider agency (EIPA) that helps children from birth to three with developmental delays or disabilities. At SSP2P, they understand the challenges and worry from a parent’s perspective and are there to help and provide specific resources for you and your child.
In Grays Harbor, they provide early intervention evaluation, therapeutic services (OT, PT, Speech and Home Visiting), and family resources coordination, and are the point of entry for all birth to three services.
Arc of Grays Harbor provides information, resources, and referrals to individuals with disabilities and their families. Their Parent to Parent program provides emotional support and mentoring to parents of a child with a disability or special healthcare needs in both Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties. They provide Community Engagement services to clients of the Developmental Disabilities Administration. They also provide educational workshops and presentations for the community and host programs and clubs with opportunities for social engagement.
Preschools in Grays Harbor
High-quality preschool program not only provides child care for busy parents, but also provides a foundation of learning that helps children succeed in elementary school and beyond. Attending isn’t a necessity; however, early childhood education gives kids a great head start.
